OOTD: Floral x Geometrical x Lace x Michael Kors

It's been a while since I last posted an OOTD post, so here's one (:

Featuring a floral with geometrical prints, very unique design. Simple and sweet!
As the prints are already outstanding on its own, you might want to keep the rest neutral such as pairing it with a pair of lace ballerina flats to add the feel of sweet and innocence. You don't want to create a "headache causing look" by matching too many prints together.

Hope you like this look as much as I do! (:

Fashion Culture June's Box!

I know, I know.. It looks like it's a little late to only un-box my June's box now but I've been busy in July with my finals and what not :( But let's skip all the boring stuff and check out the excitement in the box!

For those who do not know what a Fashion Culture box is..

Fashion Culture Box offers THREE uniquely different themes monthly in its fashion box subscription, where subscribers of the boxes will receive fashion and beauty items, specially curated by the FC Team.
It offers an experience to remember with its tagline: "Look. Touch. Feel. And Experiment with Style".

For JUNE, they came out with 3 themes under the category of "Colours of The World":
(1) Viva la Brasil (in conjunction with World Cup Brazil 2014)
(2) Harajuku Girls
(3) K-Pop Mania

Being someone who loves colors and experimenting in fashion, I've chosen to go bold with K-Pop Mania as I'm expecting a lot of bright neon accessories and fashion items.

I love their packaging, simple and cute! Are you ready to see what's inside?

In the box..
A cap, a cute bow hair clip, a set of three-piece ring that made of different shapes by Cheap Monday, a pair of statement earrings (my favorite item in the box!) and a nail art kit from Bloop. I love how they combined all the colors together, all neon but they complement each other very well.

Close up on the accessories (:

In the nail art kit from Bloop..
A neon pink nail polish, nail sticker from Bloop, a dotting tool, sponge and stripping tape.

I really love the nail stickers, so colorful and playful!

And of course, you can't skip a selfie!
I've created my very own Korean Popstar inspired look by using my Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner in Galaxy Black (you can read about it here) and go bold with my Clinique's High Impact Lip Colour.

And here's my favorite, the statement earrings!

Just too gorgeous to begin with and I love the COLOURS! Put them on and even the simplest outfit can look awesome!

So, there you go..
Fashion Culture's June's K-pop Mania box!

Btw, from July onwards, subscription for FCB is only RM50 and they have launched an online FCZine now instead of the printed mini magazine in the box. The product info, price, and other information related to the box will be published in the online version (:

For more info, check out their website or Facebook!

OOTD: Neon x Gold x White

Sometimes, being a little bold is good. Life is short to wear boring clothes.
Explore and venture into different styles, be you! (:

A little neon goes a long way as it adds a "pop of life" to your whole look without being too dramatic. Keep the rest simple such as pairing with neutral colors like white or black. As the outfit is rather simple and plain, you can add a bold piece of statement necklace or other accessories to complete the look.

OOTD: Pastel x Floral x Lace

Sooooo..
I've been thinking of doing a fashion lookbook for my OOTDs for a while..
Because I love to share and hope to give some inspiration *fingers crossed*
Mainly because I just love to dress up (:

And I so happen to have a friend who loves shooting OOTDs for me..
So, I will try to post as frequent as possible for this and hope you'll like it!
ps: None of the items are sponsored by any parties

Here's to the first OOTD post!
Of  pastel colors, lace and floral designs

A soft flowy lace pastel floral dress is a perfect touch for a girlish yet adorable look. Instead of pairing with plain colored shoes, be bold and have a mix of colors. I've paired mint colored ballet flats with cute white bows to add to the whole "cute" look. For accessories, go simple as you want to keep the dress as the outstanding one ;)

Dress: Phat Culture
Belt: Vincci
Shoes: Bought in Taiwan

So sorry that not many photos were taken for this :(
Will do better ones in the upcoming posts!

Till then,
Much loves, xoxo.

Shopping Online: Yay or Nay?

Shopping online, I'm sure this is one thing that every girl is guilty of at least once. If you are not, it's not too late to catch up with it. Okay, I sound like a total bad influence.

There were many discussions around whether is it worth or safe to shop online since scams are everywhere. Of course, it's not all bad. So far all of my shopping sprees done online had been good.
Let's see the good and bad!

Advantages:
 A whole lot of choices
No queue for fitting room is needed
  Wide price range
Can select and compare easily among stores
 Save time
Get the latest fashion updates instantly
Not that easy to bum into people wearing the same clothes

Disadvantages:
✗ Cannot see, touch or feel the real material
✗ May get scammed of quality
✗ No fitting available (Cannot try on the clothes)
✗ Delivery of parcels not guaranteed
Have to standby and wait for courier's arrival

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

These are some of them that I can think of from my experience. Of course, I would also like to share a list of online boutiques that I have shopped before / some of my favorites!

http://allkinds-of-everything.blogspot.com
Zalora
Groupon
Gossips Boutique
Kiss and Tell

What to expect from shopping online;
Lotsa cute stuff, nice packaging & personalized 'thank you' notes!

Not a very long list because I still do love shopping in malls and mostly I'll stick to my favorites.
Hope you enjoy reading this post and for those who plans to try out shopping online for the very first time,
bonne chance!

Much loves, xoxo.

Shopping: Cheer Up Christmas Bazaar

Hohoho! Merry Chris.... okay, too early for that!

But I'm sure that most of us are already in the holiday mood doing all the holiday-ly stuff!
*excited child here!*

I'm done with my 5th semester and it was a rough and challenging semester. Events, assignments, people, dramas.. Glad to make it through alive! Anyhow, I saw this event in FB, Cheer Up Christmas Bazaar by A Shopaholic's Den that will be held in Uptown 7 on 19-21 Dec. I couldn't make it for their Lush Serendipity Blowout Sale previously because I had to study for my exams so I've decided to check this one out as the list of vendors seem attractive!

I love going bazaars..
You will be spoil by the number of choices and variations.
Can see the real product rather than staring at pictures online
Sales, sales, sales and promotions! (Best part ever!)

So, one of my best friends was back in town for a bit so she hop along and my smexy mama decided to join us since she will have to resume back to work in another one week's time. Before that, I've actually checked out some of the vendors online to see what I can expect there. One of them who got me excited most was Tuesday Couture. The clothes were pretty and the price was affordable, and she said she'll be giving special rate during the bazaar!

Here are some of the things we brought..
1. Accessories organizer

I wonder who came up with this innovative idea. It's cute and convenient!
The lady was selling it RM20 each but my mom decided to get 2 and gotten a discount of 2 for RM36. She's always an awesome bargainer! :p

Front and back

Tadaa!~ Didn't want to fill them full as it was already heavy.

2. Lovely accessories from Juju Milky

All for only RM35?!

They were having sales to clear off their old stocks and guess what? You could never tell that they are old stocks as all of them are still so pretty and shiny, looking very much brand new.

Bestie got this for RM10 (original price, RM29)

This lovely was also only RM10 (original price, RM21) and it's the last one left. Lucky me!

This pretty one was sold at RM20 at first (original price, RM35). But mommy once again used her awesome bargaining skills to get it at RM15! So, all 3 pretty necklaces for only RM35! And I would say it's the best bargain ever as the quality was good and they are really really really pretty! Too bad the table was small that she couldn't display everything, we were peeping at the luggage filled with more pretty accessories.
If you didn't make it for this bazaar, no worries. She'll be in another one at Empire Damansara next Saturday apparently. Don't say I never tell you! :p

Well, that was pretty much the things that we gotten from the bazaar. I had so many things that I wanted to get from Tuesday Couture but couldn't when I saw the items. The golden plate belt was too big for me (the metal plate was too long), the cute polka dots jeggings wasn't long enough and the cropped top was already sold out for black color. Sad me :(

But after lunch, we went to one of the boutiques nearby and I bought 2 dresses there.

Totally perfect to usher in 2014!

Well, that's all for this time's shopping haul.
Hope that those who made it to the bazaar found awesome deals too.

Much loves, xoxo.

Fashion: 14 ways to style skater skirts

Fashion comes and goes but some are opt to stay for a bit
such as

SKATER SKIRTS!

There are so many types of skater skirts in the market these days..
Ranging from bold colors to prints, floral to faux leather, lace to many many more!
Almost every girl has at least one, it's like the new LBD.

More skater skirts!

What do I love about skater skirts?
 They are versatile.
They can go with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
Dress up, dress down? Up to your mood.
It accentuates your waist without the need to show the bloated tummy like bodycon skirts.
Cute? Glam? Girly? Depends on your pairing

What I don't like?
1. When there's wind...
2. Easily upskirt while using the stairs

Other than those 2 reasons, I don't see why not to have one!
I bought two from an online boutique named Ultraviolet since they were having a '2 for RM50' promotion
and the feedback from her customers were good. I must say, very friendly and good service by the owner.
I enjoyed my purchase and the items' quality are as promised.
Bought a black and a nude (:
( I'll probably be doing a post on online boutiques. If you support that, do leave a comment :p )

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~~.~.~.~.~.~

Soooooooo, since 2014 is drawing in, I've decided to do a short video on
14 ways to style your skater skirts!

Hope you enjoyed the video and do share your ideas too!

Manicure: Cheap yet Fast?

Having a function at night after work and there's no time to get a manicure?
Check this out, nail art stickers that can be put on in 5 minutes and you're ready to go!

Found this while wandering around GM Klang with my babe. Some of the designs caught my attention
and in my mind was.. "If it's easy to apply on, why not? Maybe can use for CNY, one day one design to suit my OOTDs". And it only cost RM5 anyhow.

So, I bought one home after half an hour ransacking through the gazillion pieces to find one which I fancy.
Finally decided on this because
1. It's versatile
2. You can never go wrong with black and white
3. I can hypnotize people with the pattern :p

The back of the packaging with instructions (:

As you can see, there's 12 pieces altogether, 6 for each hand.

Step 1: I first cut out one piece so it'll be easier for me to apply on.
(Can skip this step as it turned out to be unnecessary)

Step 2: Remove the upper transparent layer.

Step 3: Remove the nail art sticker. (It feels like normal sticker)

Step 4: Stick the nail art sticker onto your nail.
(It'll definitely be bigger than your nail unless you have very big fingernails)

Step 5: Instead of filing the sides, I used a scissors to slowly trim.

And my end product?

I've painted my fore and ring fingers black instead of sticking the sticker on all nails.
Super happy with the overall design

*TIP: Do not do this before your shower as the sides might "pop up" and it'll ruin the whole thing.
They're just stickers after all.

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~~.~.~

Hope this serves as an useful tip for all you busy bees out there
(:

Was thinking of doing a giveaway for this, what are your thoughts? Do leave a comment ^^

October's Shopping Hauls ❤

shop·a·hol·ic

\ˌshä-pə-ˈhȯ-lik, -ˈhä-\: a person who likes to shop very much

I love shopping hauls!

Which girl doesn't? Unless she doesn't fancy shopping, then it's understandable
but I'm guessing majority do? *wink*

For this month's shopping hauls, there's gonna be many items from Cotton On. It has become my place to hunt for bargains. The awesome part? ALL for RM15 only!

Chiffon B&W top

Girls can't have enough of shoes

  Latest love, neon colors!
Shine bright with a neon

Le mommy's and my shoe addiction!~
Hint: Less than RM10

All of them are from Cotton On (above). I've also gotten their panties. 5 for RM30. Now, who wouldn't go for that? Material's good, pretty comfy if you buy the right size. Even if you bought a size smaller, fret not. It would still be okay, unlike some which will cause you the muffin top/bulges around the hip and butt areas. Btw, their designs are super cute!

Now this pretty thing is from H&M. RM19 only. Smallest size they had was US 6, usually I would prefer a size 4 but it's okay. Still fits good.

It's like a light peachy pink

Next bargain is from an online boutique, ASOC. I was browsing through their Sales album and something caught my eyes.

I love sexy back dresses. Somehow it gives that classic way of being sexy
without needing to expose too much.

The service was good as they were very efficient and material's up to expectations. One thing though, it was a little loose for me on the top part. I'm more of a slender figured person rather than a curvy babe. But frets not, I'll be doing some DIY on it to fit me well.

I have something else that I bought online but have yet to receive it so, I guess that's it for this month's hauls.
And I was thinking of doing a weekly/monthly OOTDs, ways to match one outfit with many options.
What do you think?

ps: Will do a review on some makeup soon (:
Till then..

Much loves, xoxo.

Hong Kong (Part 2): Dim Sum and Ocean Park

Oh boy, there goes my procrastination and half a year has passed since I made up my mind to comeback to the world of blogging. Many things ...
