All About Perfumes!

Tadaaaaa!~

I had unwrapped the cute love from my previous post! My guess was..
1. A bottle of perfume
2. Some snowball decor that's really really really adorable?

AND it's a

My initial guess was right! Woman's instinct! Woots!~

Since my gift was a bottle of perfume, I have decided to do a small review of  my 3 little darlings. Well, not a professional reviewer but just wanted to share my own experience and hope it would help others out there who wants to hunt for a nice perfume. (Unlike me who had to went back and forth smelling coffee beans and bottles and bottles and bottles of perfumes like a drug addict till I can actually taste them. And it wasn't pleasant at all, trust me!)

Product 1

Calvin Klein's Eternity Aqua
"Eternity Aqua is inspired by refreshing femininity with an effortless elegance. It has a modern and natural style with an easy approach to life and love. Featuring a sensual and uplifting scent reminiscent of a clean, crisp ocean breeze, this fragrance is meant for the smoothly stylish woman, with sophistication, confidence, and sexiness. "
Notes:
White Peony, Crisp Pink Lady Apple, Cucumber Water, Apricot Pulp, Tiare, Magnolia, Gardenia, Jasmine, Sundrenched Woods, Cedarwood, Transparent Musk.

My opinion
I really really really love this bottle as the scent is really light and refreshing as stated in the description. I'm not the kind of girl who loves perfume that smells so strong as though you used them to shower. It gives you a very fresh-out-from-the-shower feel and it actually last pretty long if you would to spray it directly to your skin.

I rate: 8 out of 10

Product 2

 Nina Ricci

Notes:
Calabrese lemon, lime, red toffee apple, vanilla infusion, moon flower, peony petals, apple tree wood, cotton musk

My opinion:
The scent is very flowery and a little strong for me. I would say it's more suitable for someone who is matured rather than for young adults unless you wanna rock the sexy vixen feel! But the design of the bottle is cute, love the word detailing at the cap. Would not purchase it by myself, it was a souvenir from Paris! (:

I rate5 out of 10

Sweetness Overload!

I don't know what happened or who was right, but things are falling apart as we go on. I'm just too tired to argue anymore so I'm just dragging along filled with frustrations and disappointments. The more we spent time together, the more strangers we are. Back to square one..

So I was having a little problem here and there with a bunch of people whom I called "friends". At times, I really wonder, what does the word sincerity, friendship, trust and sisterhood mean to them. I'm just sick and tired of all these craps.

Had a pretty rough day and he knows about it, down to every single detail because he'll be the first one that I'll run to ranting my emotions away. He lingers around near my neighborhood and asks me to join him for an ice-cream treat. Haagen-Dazs! Yummmmmss!~

Om nom nom, munch munch munch, rant rant rant..
(He really listens, you know. No matter how much you rant or goes over the same thing over and over again. He just sits there patiently, listens to you and shows some empathy, pats your hand.. All the little things that made me adore him even more.)

Then he says," You poor thing, don't emo already lah k? Hope this would cheer you up! (: "

I can only gasped with surprise because I never realised that he has that with him all along. Where did he stored that?!

"I'm sorry I cannot pass you this one Wednesday, so I thought it's better early than late (:"

Aww.. Ice cream and this? How could you not say it's sweetness overload? Am waiting till the clock strikes midnight on the 29th and I shall find out what's wrapped inside this love.

Much loves, xoxo.

Date Night ❤

He told me, " Get ready by 5, okay? (: ".

                 Me: Where are we going?
                 Him: Somewhere nice! (:
                 Me: Okay, no hints?
                 Him: You'll know later.

So, with 10minutes left ticking on the clock, I quickly run into my room, grab my stuffs and get in front of the mirror. Ok, primer and BB cream first! Done! Eyeshadow, eyeshadow, where are my brushes?! Eyeliner! Okay! Now, time to perk up the lashes! Some mascara... Then some lip gloss to finish the look!

Dress or shorts? Colorful or monotone? Sleeves or sleeveless?
And I've decided on my newly brought H&M aztec dress!

I did not get to take a OOTN because was rushing :( But here's a picture of it, took it online! :D

This dress is one of my favorites in my collection! SUPER SUPER SUPER love it! The cutting's very flattering and it fits everywhere nicely! As I am more of a hour-glass shape girl rather than owning small hips, it accentuates my small waist very well and the straps are adjustable! NO worries for the length of dress.

After 15minutes of chaotic, this is the look!

So, we ended up in Bangsar's Smokehouse because he knows I've been craving for some juicy lambs. How sweet of him!

While looking at the menu, they also serve Beef Wellington!!! One of the things that I've been searching for! It's not easy to find a place that actually serves you Beef Wellington in Malaysia! Yeah, I know. We have pretty limited choices here, sadly. :(

A little candle to set the mood and the food was AWE-freaking-SOME! On the left, the Ceasar Salad and my long craved for, Beef Wellington! Yums!!!

Ended dinner with some dessert in Dip n Dip! Brownie Chocolate Crepe, the melty smooth chocolate goes so well with the crepe and brownies in it. Mmmm~~~

Awesome night finished with an awesome movie, Fast  & Furious 6! Lovely date night indeed! ❤

A Little Birthday Dinner

So last night, a dear friend of mine decided to bring me and the birthday girl out for dinner.

Around 6.20pm..
     - on Facebook chat -

Me: Btw, I nd to go shower n gt ready alr or else later late. Not like u duno he's always PUNCTUAL.
Birthday girl: Alright, I'll watsapp u.
Me: Thankies! Buhbye!

I went into the showers, take my own sweet time and decided to put on a little bit of makeup after getting dressed. Just right at the moment after I'm done with my BB cream..
      * le phone rings *

Me: Hello!
Kent: Hello, we are right outside of your place! Come out now.
Me: WHATTTTTTTTTT?! Okay, 3 mins!

And the moment I went downstairs, my mom said her favorite line, " Why you ALWAYS let people wait for you one?"
My only reaction: (-.-") Hello, I've asked someone to inform me but they did not.

Oh well, let's skip to dinner.

Kent picked TGIF as the dining spot since I was craving for lamb and he was gonna treat both of us (YAY!). Birthday girl and I wanted the lamb chop but it was sold out (total disappointment for an established food chain). Our last resort, grilled lamb. She told the waitress who was taking our order, "Medium well, please.".

20 minutes of growling tummy and rants of hunger.. The lamb arrives!

To a BIGGER disappointment, our lambs were so well done that it hurts my jaw just by chewing it! Dang it! I swear if I was an old woman with fragile teeth, they would have all dropped by then! And so, I've decided to ask the staff and their response was, "Sorry miss, all grilled lambs are cooked with the same standard, no medium well or whatsoever."

OH WOW! Fantastic lah! Hello, your staff could have told me that during the order so that I WOULD HAD ORDERED SOMETHING ELSE other than your ROCK SOLID LAMB! This is what I called "lack of staff training and poor product knowledge". Another thing, TGIF has this tradition where the staffs would all performed a birthday song and brings a free dessert for the birthday person. I have seen this in the Sunway Pyramid's TGIF and it was awesome but the one here.. The way they handled it was so DREADFUL that we ended up asking for only the dessert, no singing. In short, dinner was pretty ruined.

We went to the bowling alley after dinner to roll some pins down! Been ages since my last game..

Stinky bowling shoes!

Pose a bit first, can play or not, we shall see later.

Birthday girl captured this for me! :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY   darling, you're officially 22 now! *xoxo*

And then that's all for today's post! (: (need to get back to assignments now!)

My very first post!

It's the wee hours and here I am, posting my very first blog post

Why would I start blogging again after so long? The very reason was, one of my girlfriends showed me her blog that was newly created and somehow it got me inspired to start my own. It would be a very good platform for me to share whatever and whenever I want. About my life, my shopping hauls, travel experiences and maybe some makeup tips (although I don't apply makeup often)?

I don't really know what I want to post now but I have decided to share some of my favorite photoshoot pictures that's been taken previously. So.. Hope you guys would enjoy and give some comments below!

Let's start with ZERO makeup, bare face! (:

With minimal makeup! Just some eyeliner and mascara!

Then we shall move on to FULL makeup
One of my favorites! <3

It's NOT an illusion, I had oil paint painted all over me!

So, what are your views? Anyways, for more pictures, you can always drop by my facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AmAlwaysVon

Time to get some beauty sleep! Much loves, xoxo.

Hong Kong (Part 2): Dim Sum and Ocean Park

Oh boy, there goes my procrastination and half a year has passed since I made up my mind to comeback to the world of blogging. Many things ...
