Weekend Getaway

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo..

As I am getting nearer to my last four papers for my final exams, excitement hits me like a train as the smell of freedom draws closer! DEFINITELY CAN'T WAIT TILL I CAN SCREAM MY LUNGS OUT IN JOY! I am pretty looking forward to my Thailand weekaway in August but somehow I feel like something's missing. There's a thought somewhere in my head that's telling me to get a weekend getaway straight after my papers. Somewhere I can get the S.B.S; sun, beach and sand together with a food heaven! Good food is definitely a MUST for me as I do enjoy food like a glutton and I never say "NO" to awesome food.

Speaking of S.B.S + food heaven, I could only think of a couple of places which I could travel locally at the very last minute while on an affordable budget (I'm just a student, how many trips could I afford in a month without work?). They are, Sabah and Penang! The one that tempts me more would be Penang because firstly, it is KNOWN as the food heaven of Malaysia and second, I could go on a food road trip while travelling there by car. So, I had checked the rates if I would to take a flight using Air Asia, it would cost me around RM200++ just for the air fares. There's still the cost of transport, hotel and food. Hmm.. Dilemma much?

Drive there = Massive jam + long journey + "car lag" BUT can do food road trip and has own transport
Fly there = Save flight + save energy + no jam BUT cost more ($$$$$$$!) and need to rent transport there

Which one do you think is a wiser choice?

Guess I shall decide on it when the time comes and should just try to focus on studying my Law for the coming paper. Most importantly, I should get a habit of sleeping and waking up early, starting to look like a zombie-fied panda already. Shall dream of my getaway as a motivation. And to those who are having the e-fever too, bonne chance!

Much loves, xoxo.

French?

E-fever coming through!

Examinations; papers, scribbles, numb fingers and crying for time! Every student's pain for every ending to a semester. I will be having my first paper this very Thursday, French-Basic 1. Other than sleeping off my whole study week away, all I did was procrastinating, procrastinating and procrastinating like a boss! It's so hard for me to actually find the motivation to study early as one believes that it will all evaporate away from the mind before the exam (pure nonsense, of course).

So, I try my very best to sit down and at least start a little. Out came all the notes, rearranging everything and disposing all unnecessary distractions, finally all is ready for my revision!

Still is messy, I know :(

And of course when it comes to revision, you will be sitting there for hours and hours till your butt grew numb and your brain juice runs dry! Therefore, I always have a backup plan: water and snacks! The usual would be a whole heaven of CHOCOLATES and COOKIES.

My choice of the week: Pepperidge Farm's Milano

Soooooooooooooooo.. back to revision for me now. Midnight oil burning is no fun but that is the only time which I can really put my focus onto stuffs. Good night all!

Me baby chipmunk. Should I name her "Mia"?

Much loves, xoxo.

Reality..

"A world full of selfish souls and pretense is what we are living in if truth is to be told."

We all been through that, hoping that everyone is sincere and true to you but in the real harsh world, it's all just a dream. No matter friends or strangers, there are bound to be "poker faces" around us, wandering near waiting to take advantage of you.

Before I started my university life, I have always thought that people there are more easygoing and honest to each other as everyone is an adult by that stage. But no, I was wrong. There are even MORE DRAMAS than you could ever imagined! People would be smiling in your face but backstab you later on, sticking up to you when you have benefits like a freaking parasite and many more. That might not be the deal in all universities but I do encountered such humans before in mine, the 'selfish parasitic souls' I would called them.

Some people are funny that way, they would sit there and laugh at your work, or refuse to share some pin points on how to do the assignments because they are just selfish like that. They would rather just keep the knowledge to themselves as though sharing it would kill them. They would spread lies about you when you did nothing to them, just because they like to be the center of all attention. And such people do exist in my class, they were watching my team's presentation while bitching and giggling away at the back of the class in our faces. I guess they do not know the meaning of respect, it's okay, I forgive them because we scored an "A+" and our paper is going to be the benchmark paper. Well, what can I say? Haters are gonna hate and I'll be on them with my success while they are stuck at the bottom forever laughing.

End of the day, the poor souls still have the guts to approach us and ask for our paper so that they could take it as a "reference" (and by this, it means copy our work). Sorry but no thanks, we went through a hell of a sh*t sleepless nights week to complete the assignment without any of your help, and now you just wanna easily copy it when all these while you refuse to share tips and laughed at our work? Well, good luck to you!

ps: Pardon me for unleashing my rant here but I guess
I'm just not a fan of selfish parasitic fools! (;
And to those who are facing the same situation, do not be afraid to say "NO" once a while.

Much loves, xoxo.

Hong Kong (Part 2): Dim Sum and Ocean Park

Oh boy, there goes my procrastination and half a year has passed since I made up my mind to comeback to the world of blogging. Many things ...
