Review: TruDtox

I hate it when I wake up feeling all bloated and my tummy bulges like a spare tyre. It's such a hassle especially when you have an important date that night or you are in the mood to squeeze into that sexy bodycon dress that you just bought the other day. Things are even worse when I'm a nocturnal animal at wee hours, my body system has gone haywire :( I often feel fatigue, munched on unhealthy fast food and have problems visiting the throne. Definitely #firstworldproblems  to me as it takes toll on my body, goodbye sexiness.. *drama queen mode*

And I've heard that by detoxing, it'll do your body good! Why so?

Well, if we do not remove the toxins that are stored in our cells or recirculated in our bloodstream, the accumulation of toxins can lead to health problems such as fatigue, aches and a decline in immune system, which may trigger an onset of degenerative diseases. Even though our body has a natural detox system that comprises various organs to facilitate toxins removal or to transform them into harmless excretable chemicals, sometimes these important detox organs' functions are compromised and a little help might go a long way.

In conclusion, toxin = harm to our body

Also, detox gives you the benefits of
Promote regularity
Relieve digestive discomforts
Promote better absorption of nutrients
Improve metabolism
Strengthen immune system
Promote health, vitality & energy

And all thanks to HiShop, I get to try TruDtox detox tea (:

What's TruDtox?
It is a Swiss natural and organic botanical tea that WORKS GENTLY to cleanse and help strengthen our body’s own natural detox organs. It is made of 100% organically-cultivated herbs, flora and teas that are traditionally known to help our body detoxify. Best of all, it does not contain harsh laxatives and as such, will not create bowel dependency.

Why TruDtox?
1. TruDtox is made of European Herbs and is certified as food by the Ministry of Health.
2. Does not contain harsh laxatives (eg: Senna) and offers gentle cleansing.
3. It is very friendly for your bank account as you only need to consume 2 or 3 times a week – or whenever you want.

When to TruDtox?
I would suggest to take during the weekends or on the days where you can easily access the washroom frequently as you will tend to urinate more often. After 5 – 10 hours, some may feel a minor urge of bowel movement. Best to take before your sleep so you can "go" in the morning.

Who needs TruDtox?
Anyone who wants to detox all the toxins out of the body! (: You can even brew in a teapot and share with others, how awesome! *Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women.

How to consume TruDtox?
Just simply brew the tea bag in a hot cup of water for 20-30 minutes.

Now.. Just sit back and relax for 30 minutes for it to be ready..

And here's your cuppa TruDtox!
I must say that the tea tasted and smelled good. Very much like herbal tea. Love it!
Oh, you can brew it again for the 2nd time. Just add lesser water.

My opinion?
I'll definitely try this detox tea again as it helps in regulating bowel movement and prevents constipation.
Not forgetting, it tasted so good! And my tummy is flatter now! :D

OOTD: Neon x Gold x White

Sometimes, being a little bold is good. Life is short to wear boring clothes.
Explore and venture into different styles, be you! (:

A little neon goes a long way as it adds a "pop of life" to your whole look without being too dramatic. Keep the rest simple such as pairing with neutral colors like white or black. As the outfit is rather simple and plain, you can add a bold piece of statement necklace or other accessories to complete the look.

Skin Care: Egyptian Magic Cream

Have you heard about the Magical Egyptian Cream?
The one that's creating a buzz in the world of celebrities nowadays..

Been hearing a lot of good stuff about this product and I was so lucky enough to be one of the lucky ones to get this from Natta Cosme!

Thank you, Natta Cosme! :D

I love the packaging, simple yet cute! And what's in the adorable packet?

Info and tips about the product, *thumbs up*!

Sooooooooo.. What's this Egyptian Magic Cream?

Well.. I can't resist a selfie with it before introducing it to you guys. What an excuse for self-vanity right? :D
Oh well, pardon my panda eyes though as I've been sleeping real late recently..

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

What's this Egyptian Magic Cream then?
Made from six of nature's most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients; olive oil, honey, beeswax, royal jelly, propolis and bee pollen, it's the ultimate all-natural multi-purpose cream!

Olive oil, a  great hypoallergenic moisturiser
Beeswax, retains the skin’s moisture and has many healing properties
Bee pollen, to nourish top level skin and absorb free radicals
Royal Jelly, supports skin renewal and collagen production
Honey, helps the skin to rejuvenate thanks to its natural antioxidant and antimicrobial properties
Bee Propolis, a nutrient-rich substance that promotes healing and skin regeneration

... ... ... ... ... ...

For more than 20 years, they've been blending these ingredients using unique, proprietary process based on a formula that was created thousands of years ago in the land of the Pharaohs. Talking about ancient! :O I guess good things are passed on generations to generations..

Soooooooooooooo..
What do I think about this product?

Before that, how to work this magical ancient cream?
1. You scoop out a small amount from the tub
2. Gently rub the balm on your palm till it takes the form of oil
3. And you are ready to use it (:

Area of test #1: Face
I didn't really like it on my face as it was oily for me. For comparison, I've used a piece of tissue paper to gently dab at my face. Nowadays I use tissue papers as my oil blotters instead of those typical oil blotter sheets as I think those are sucking up too much which will leave your skin dry and unprotected. This will eventually cause your skin to produce more sebum to protect it from the harsh environment. Unhealthy.

Left: After dabbing the oily excess off my face, tissue is somewhat translucent
Right: Normal new piece of tissue

Area of test #2: Hair
My hair is a little dry from all those hair dye and also because I'm currently using shampoo for sensitive scalp, so it tends to be more dry than using the normal shampoo. Apparently this doesn't work for my hair either as it gets a little oily.

Area of test #3: Body
This is where the miracle works for me! Maybe my body's skin is more dry and malnourished than the face as the face is always protected and nourished by the daily facial products. It absorbs well into the skin with gentle massage and you will notice that your skin is instantly hydrated. It's awesome especially if you are constantly in an air-conditioned room.

Other functions:
✔ Incredible results seen using Egyptian Magic on eczema, psoriasis and other skin ailments.
✔ Can also be used as lip balm! Scoop some into a small container for convenience.
✔ Due to it being oily, you can even use it as a makeup remover! All-in-1 multi-purpose cream!
✔ Can even use it as hair masque and cuticle conditioner, I did that! :D
✔ Oh btw, it works like Bio-Oil. Can help in preventing stretch marks, burn and wound relief.
