Review: YOKO Milk Shower Essential Kit

I heard the door bell rang and someone honking right outside of my house, was thinking that it might be Poslaju with my parcel so I asked my mom to pick it up since I was doing something upstairs. But when I got downstairs ...

A Big SURPRISE!

And everything's so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeee!

YOKO Milk Shower Essential Kit!

And what's inside the cute little envelope with the moo moo seal sticker?

How-to-use cards, how thoughtful!

Okay, let's start with product #1!

Hair spa, yay! Am so looking forward to this since my hair has been so frizzy these days, not sure why. Maybe from all the damage done during the days where I dyed my hair frequently.

I love how the products are sealed nicely for hygiene purposes.

The product smells really good, like some lotion scent. It claims to be a unique blended treatment with triple benefits from Milk protein, Coconut oil, and Argan oil that boosts the beauty and shine of your hair.

Texture is thick and gooey, very much like conditioner. Speaking of which, it can be used as a replacement product for your conditioner except that you'll have to leave it for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off. So I went and wash my hair and happily put on the product on every strand without getting it on my scalp as I don't want to end up with oily hair since my scalp is pretty sensitive.

Instead of wrapping up using a towel as suggested, I lazily bun it up and continued with whatever I was doing.

After about 10 minutes, I rinsed it off during my shower and to my surprise, it came off easily and your hair instantly feels soft and clean. As I have used hair spa products from other brands before, I notice that most of them are pretty hard to rinse off, they will take ages and you will feel as though there's still product in your hair and it's oily. But with this, I don't find it a hassle to rinse off, in fact, I am in love with it! My hair feels soft and I don't even need a comb for it. Just let it air dry and then comb it using my fingers and I'm ready to go out. Plus, it smells so good! AWESOMENESS!

Product #2!

When I saw milk salt, was wondering how it'll look and smell like.
It's stated for exfoliating and removing dirt deposits and dead skin cells from your body, giving you a new radiant skin after shower while nourishing the skin with Vitamin E, Milk protein, with natural salt benefits.

Okay, very fine salt granules, unlike those shower salt I've used before and it smells like some milky buttery cookie! So the yummy!

So, like most shower salt, you'll have to massage it in circular motion on wet skin. But there's an extra step for this product, that is to leave it for 3 minutes before rinsing it off. Not sure why is that but I think it has something to do with letting the product absorbs into the skin (probably the milk!).

Wet your skin, put on some product and start massaging!

This is how it looks like on wet skin.

And this is after the 3 minutes. Salt granules on your skin.

My verdict?
The skin feels very soft after shower, like it's nourished from the milk in the product. And again, it smells so good! And since it's fine salt, it felt as though you have scrubbed every dead cell off the skin to reveal a new layer! Okay, that probably sound a little dramatic but your skin will definitely feel cleaner and healthier!

After getting out from my shower, can't wait to try on product #3!

The packaging for this one is just too cute! A moo cow milk bottle?  !!!

I'm a sucker for adorable stuffs!

Claimed to be a non-greasy formula which enriches your skin with Milk protein and Vitamin B3 for nourishing and moisturizing purposes while the Vitamin E and Licorice extract leaves your skin smoother, lighter, more supple and healthier looking.

It has the lotion scent, very much similar to the hair spa's scent. Very nice one, indeed. Texture wise, it's very watery and light, absorbs quickly into the skin and not oily at all. People say that it's always good to apply lotion to your skin after your shower as it would absorb better and you can keep your skin nourished and protected. Usually I won't want to do that since I hate the sticky feeling but I think I will make that a habit with this product now. But since it's watery, you'll tend to use more compared to those creamy type.

The last and product #4?

A rich and exclusive cream consists of Milk protein, Aloe vera extract and Chamomile extract which absorbs fast and acts as a key to retain skin moisture to prevent wrinkles, brighten your skin and improve its condition for smoother and softer skin.

The texture is heavier, thicker and creamier than the body lotion. Smell wise is the same. It's a little greasy compared to the lotion but in a manageable level. Recommended especially for those who are always in air-conditioned room as I think it's good in keeping your skin moisturized!

Overall, I really love the products in every way; its packaging, smell and efficiency.
I would definitely recommend and purchase this set in the future as a happy user. And if you enjoyed reading this review and would like to try them out, here's good news for you!
