France: Departure Day

Bonjour! Finally I'm blogging about my France trip!
This was way back in the end of May till early June during their spring/summer season. As part of our course's requirements, we have to complete one of our assignments at Université de Toulouse, Jean Jaurès and yes, it is a compulsory trip. But anyhow, we still gotten the chance to visit France! Thank you, God! *overexcited kid*

So, there's a total of 200+ humans, separated into 3 groups boarding 1 Emirates and 2 Qatars. I was in the last batch, boarding Qatar Airways (: I must say, it was a pleasure flying with them even though my butt numbs from those long hours. 14 hours worth of flying and even though with a transition in between, it wasn't all fun because the air in airplanes are really dry and I hate it :( But the stewardesses were really friendly and helpful, so it was still awesome (:

A sneak peek of the meal (:

So what you will get to enjoy during the flight would be a blanket, headphones, the mini tv screen (loaded with many movies, series, games and etc.), a pouch containing some toiletries and sleep eye covers, one main meal and a high-tea meal (confirm you will be full and bloated). Also, I really like that they have body lotion in the washrooms, a much needed necessity in the dry atmosphere.

Selfie while we were in Doha! 40 degrees there is no joke!

Doha really looks like a desert area from above with many brick buildings and a whole lot of sand. Oh, the weather was sizzling alright, 40 degrees! I can feel my scalp cooking under the sun while waiting for the shuttle bus. Chilled around the airport for an hour plus to be on board another flight to Paris. After another 6 hours plus in the plane, few movies and a bloated tummy, we were so looking forward to touchdown in Paris! Because all of us were so tired and busy being pigs in the plane (was at KLIA at 7am), most of the window shutters were down till we are approaching Paris. Some started to lift it up and then the most of us were dumbfounded!

9 something in the evening..
You are expecting dark skies and hoping to see some stars (dreaming..) while cruising on top of the City of Lights in a romantic atmosphere. NO! Bright skies, super bright!

We are on top of Paris!

I guess many of us were too tired to be reminded that it's spring entering summer at that time. During spring/summer, their nighttime only comes after 10pm their local time. So basically, you will have longer daytime and cheers to more time to explore around!

Escalator in tubes at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Their airport is really beautiful, combination of nature with cave-like structures and modern design such as the tube escalators. Wanted to take some pictures but I guess all of us were really tired to move around so much and stop for pictures. But nonetheless, here's the first selfie in Paris!

Their 10pm in Paris (:

Taken this shot the moment we stepped out of the airport to wait for our coaches, 10pm in Paris.
After another hour plus in the bus, we arrived at our hotel, Hotel F1 Paris Porte de Chatillon where I heard half of their rooms are facing the graveyard and mine was indeed facing the graveyard.
Have you gotten the chills with the thought of it?

Stay tune to the next post!

Much loves, xoxo.
